WCTE PBS American Revolution CPAC Screening

WCTE PBS, in partnership with the Cookeville Performing Arts Center and Tennessee Tech University, invites the community to a special sneak preview of Ken Burns’ highly anticipated new series, The American Revolution. This event offers an exclusive opportunity to view select portions of the documentary before its national premiere, which commemorates the 250th anniversary of the Revolutionary War. Following the screening, attendees can participate in an insightful panel discussion featuring history professors from Tennessee Tech University, who will provide deeper context into the stories and figures that shaped the birth of our nation. Directed and produced by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, this landmark series explores the global impact of the thirteen British colonies’ rebellion. The event begins at 6:00 PM on November 10th and is free and open to the public.
