Host a Screening Event

Please complete this form to express your interest in hosting a screening event for THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. The purpose of this form is to collect information to facilitate communication and distribution of engagement resources as they become available.

Important Screening Limitations:
The screening material we provide will be a reel of pre-approved clips only. We cannot provide full episodes.
Please Note:

  • Theatrical Rights: Theatrical rights are not available for full episodes to be streamed in theaters, auditoriums, or similar venues. Only the provided clip reel can be used at these locations.
  • Deadline: All requests must be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to your event date. Please allow three weeks for a formal response.

To host an event, your organization must agree to the following requirements:

  1. At the event, you must share the film streaming information and the event survey (details will be provided by WETA).
  2. Additionally, any event registration pages and website listings are required to display the film’s funding credit (credit language will be provided by WETA).

All engagement activities will be supported through August 2026 and beyond.

Screening Event Information

Please provide as much information as you can, even if just estimates. We understand plans may be in flux and are trying to get a sense of how the screening reel will be shown and potential engagement themes that we can provide resources to support.

Events hosted in affiliation with a local PBS station may be scheduled after October 15, 2025. Affiliated events require the local station’s input or sign-off and must share the station’s local tune-in information and event survey with attendees. Events hosted independently of a PBS station must be scheduled after November 22, 2025. WETA will support all engagement activities through July 2026 and beyond.

Screening Reels

Each reel is composed of selected excerpts from the series. Please select which you are most interested in using at your event. NOTE: Screening material for community events will consist of a reel made up of clips from the film – we will NOT provide full episodes.
