Revolution in America: Past, Present, Future with Senator Paul Mark

The Becket Athenaeum will host a screening of an excerpt reel from the recent PBS documentary, The American Revolution, followed by a discussion about what it means to be revolutionary moderated by Massachusetts State Senator, Paul Mark. Participants are invited to consider the questions: “What does revolution mean to you?” and “Is there an historical figure, a musician, an author, an artist, a leader, etc who epitomizes a spirit of revolution in your opinion?” Attendees are welcome to bring their thoughts or any examples of work, art, writing, music, etc. around these questions that they might want to share. It should be a rich and respectful discussion!
