THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION & Tribal Sovereignty

Northwest Public Broadcasting and Whitman College, together with Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, present ‘The American Revolution & Tribal Sovereignty: A Screening and Community Conversation’ on Nov. 7 from 6 to 7:30 pm at Whitman College Reid Campus Center Ballroom. The event will feature a showing of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, a new film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt.

Join for reflections on the American experience, tribal sovereignty and the Walla Walla Treaty of 1855, presented by tribal leaders and students. The event kicks off Whitman College’s annual First Foods Festival. Free and open to the public. Light refreshments provided, while supplies last.
