We the People: A Yorktown Battlefield Event

Join WHRO on Saturday, September 20th for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, education, and community at Yorktown Battlefield for an exclusive sneak peek screening of acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns’s highly anticipated documentary, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, before it premieres on TV.

3-7pm ET| Revolutionary Festival: Before the screening, join WHRO for a variety of engaging, family-friendly activities and live music creating a fun and festive atmosphere. This exciting pre-show experience is made possible through partnerships with York County, the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, and other local organizations and park partners.
7-9pm ET | Screening Begins: Stick around for an exclusive sneak peek screening of the highly anticipated documentary, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION – on the Yorktown Battlefield featuring commentary before the film by co-director David Schmidt.
