Student Panel Discussion and Youth Media Challenge Display

Alabama Public Television and the American Village in Montevallo, AL cordially invite you to a special preview screening of excerpts from the highly anticipated documentary, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Following a special preview of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, The David Mathews Center for Civic Life will lead a moderated panel discussion with a panel of high school students about the impact of the Revolution on national identity. Entries into the Youth Media Challenge will be displayed throughout the event space, uplifting the voices of Alabama youth. As a cornerstone for Revolutionary War education and a leader in the statewide celebration of America’s 250th birthday, or semiquincentennial, there is no more fitting place to experience this pivotal moment in history.
