Deborah Sampson and Anna Maria Lane, Women Soldiers of the Revolution

Presented by Vicki Ritenour Dehlbom, Honorary Regent, Washington-Lewis Chapter, NSDAR. Two women, one from Massachusetts and another from Virginia, became soldiers in the fight for freedom. Both hid their true identities; serving as part of the American Revolution. This lecture will be followed by a screening focused on America’s women during the Revolutionary War.
