Looking to escape the heat this 4th of July? Come chill out with the Indiana Historical Society and help us celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a free day. Learn more about our nation’s history, how we celebrate our country, and reflect on what we hope the future holds. Throughout the entire building will be various crafts, ol’ fashioned summer activities, and games that will remind families of their 4th of July traditions, memories, and summers spent outdoors.

Activities include:
–celebratory arts and crafts like making pinwheels and paper fireworks (for people of all ages)
–cornhole and connect4
–reflections with the Wish Wall for America’s next 250 years
–topical showings of Ken Burns’ new documentary, The American Revolution at 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30
