THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION: A Community Screening & Conversation

March 2 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Austin PBS invites the community to a special screening of selected excerpts from The American Revolution, the acclaimed documentary series that examines the founding of the United States through multiple perspectives. The screening will be followed by a moderated panel discussion featuring local historians, journalists, educators, and community leaders, who will explore how the ideas, conflicts, and contradictions of the American Revolution continue to shape our democracy today. Together, we will reflect on whose stories have been told, whose have been left out, and how public media helps create space for informed dialogue and civic understanding. Audience members will have the opportunity to engage in conversation and ask questions, fostering a deeper connection between history, media, and our present-day community
