Ulysses S Grant Public Library Presents: THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
Ulysses S. Grant Public Library, will host an exclusive pre-screening of the highly anticipated documentary THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt, on Monday, October 21 at 6:00 PM. The event will take place at Bettersworth Auditorium in Lee Hall. Following the screening, a panel discussion and Q&A will allow attendees to reflect on the documentary’s portrayal of the nation’s founding, its lasting impact on America, its relevance as the country approaches America 250, and its significance to the Gulf South region. The Ulysses S. Grant Public Library aims to provide the community with opportunities to engage with pivotal historical narratives.
